I would think that the Dogs just tried to give him only, but the Angels wanted a few more.

Didn't you know all baseball writers, beat writers and sports reporters all hate the Angels and everything they say is false and only intended to hurt the Angels feelings or cause a stir. Because the Angels move the hot topic line around sports circles.

If advanced scouts (not ours, but perhaps the braves') believe lee's minor league numbers will translate to the bigs (unlike tyler skaggs), I make that trade straight up.

As for the trade. Its intriguing as Zach Lee is a very good prospect. I would have wanted one more prospect in this deal. In the offseason they can explore other deals to see if they can find something that will help the ML club next year. No reason to rush that deal as it was more important to the Dodgers than the Angels.

because from looking at scouting reports and his Minor League numbers, I don't see enough reports or numbers that indicates he's worth acquiring straight up for Kendrick. I'd want another prospect in the deal
