Hanson optioned to AAA

Jerry 'Midas' Dipoto strikes again.  The guy cant catch a damn break.  You'd think that at the very least Hanson could have been a #4/5 and eat some innings to the tune of a 4.5era

 

Instead, he has an unfortunate family tragedy that keeps him out and when he does pitch, he's downright awful.

We didnt give up much for Hanson, however, with his injury history he should have been nothing more than a Madson-type flier. Thinking he could hold up an entire season in the rotation was a huge fail on what was supposed to be a playoff contender.

No more risk/reward type of guys this offseason, please. I have a bad feeling he will go for those types, since he recently tried to acquire Kennedy. I have no faith in Dipoto. The thought of him trying to acquire guys like Carlos Marmol and Ian Kennedy make me wanna throw up

His problem is his delivery.

His slow ball cock makes it so easy to steal bases off of him and he also shows the ball too early to the hitters.

He needs to redo his delivery all together, since he can't depend on his mid 90s fastball any more.

I predict he will be out of the majors all together next year unless he can adjust.
