I don't think he's done, he just is what he is - a pretty one-dimensional player who for now at least is a cheap source of power.  In hindsight, it probably would have been best to trade him at last year's deadline when his stock was at its highest.

silver lining of the night - Richards was very solid in a hitter-friendly park.  IMO he should either stay in the rotation up here or start in SLC. I just don't think he's suited for the BP and the back and forth certainly wasn't doing him any favors.

Richards should be left alone as a starter next year. Blanton and/or Hanson should be at most bullpen swingman guys.
