Angels Official Website: Angels' all-time Top 5 in-season trades

The Figgins trade wins by a country mile.

The Teix trade is definately next, because not only did he give much needed production the rest of the 2008 season, and not only did we already have a 1B in waiting in Morales should Teix leave, I also believe that Grichuk (extra draft pick in 2009) will be a rock solid MLB player down the road.

The Sutton trade alllowed the Halos to add a solid pitcher for the 1986 season, and to of course see win #300 in Anaheim.

Johnny Ray was also a solid acquisition in late August 1987, although that wasn't a true trade deadline deal but one requiring clearing waivers to acquire.

He had a very solid September 1987, and then had a very solid 1988 (ASG participant) and 2 decent seasons after that and held the club record for doubles in a season (42 in 1988) until GA broke it in 2002.
