The games in the 1970s were fun to watch, maybe because that was when fans could vote again after not voting from 1958-1969.

Plus there wasn't the big push to play everyone.   Starting pitchers went 2-3 innings at the very least.

 

good points. i think the 1971 game was my favorite. home runs by bench, aaron, fr. robinson, and that moonshot by reggie (there were a couple other homers as well). that was a fun and memorable game. i wish more of them were like that today.
