Guess who's #39 in playoff hitting?

Answer?

https://www.espn.com/mlb/stats/player

Two broken bat singles in three games after the homer that stoked expectations.

But he can still emerge as a hero. Or not. Right now he seems less patient and is trying for the big blast with every swing.

I agree, Jose Iglesias needs to get his shit together.

Ohtani is 37th in OPS. The Dodgers best hitter is Hernandez at 14th.

Tatis Jr. is 1st with a 1.970, Higashioka 5th with a 1.389 and Merril is 9th with a 1.156.

Ohtani is having a Trout-like first postseason, while Tatis is raking. It is the postseason where superstars with super salaries need to step up and earn their accolades as well as their money.

.

The ultimate irony if the Dodgers, Phillies, and Yankees get bounced by wild card teams.

I don't like best-of-five division series or even the very short wild card series, but you don't want baseball to be played until mid-November.

Higashioka is the best Japanese player in the postseason.

I was just making a joke because there wasn't a game 4, due to the Angels getting swept.

I got your joke right away. That series went by so quickly that if you blinked you missed it. And the Angels PR kept crowing about "best record in baseball."

C.J. Wilson in Game 3. I knew it was over when he was announced.

Estevez just gave up a MEATBALL of a grand slam to Lindor.

Carlos Estevez just gave up a grand slam and now the Phillies are losing 4-1 in the 6th

That is not why you give up two good young prospects at the deadline.

As much as I'd like to count the Dodgers (and Ohtani) out... I'm not going to do that until they count themselves out.

well, get ready. it's a bullpen game for them tonight.

in an elimination game, this has to be a first.
