If Anderson takes the loss today, he ties Chris Flexen and Kutter Crawford for the AL lead...

In all fairness, I feel like Sandoval would be running away with this if he was able to stay healthy this year. I think he would have challenged Abbott’s 19 loss year.

GO ANGELS!!!!

HISTORY AWAITS EITHER WAY!!!

If Chicago wins today, Detroit will almost certainly hand the Sox losses 121, 122 and maybe even 123. The sole survivors of the 1962 Mets -- Jay Hook and Craig Anderson -- might have mixed feelings about that record getting eclipsed. But maybe they're happy to hand down the all-time record for frustration. Update: Both say they would not wish that failure on any other ballplayer.

If the Angels prevail today, Texas will likely give them losses 96, 97 and maybe 98. Territory no Angels team has ever visited since they began in 1961.

Damn. I could have been at this barn burner of a game but was supposed to fly to SC to visit my daughter at Clemson. Now my flight is canceled and it’s a beautiful day in Chicago…

I visited that staium in 2007? I think it was??

I was there in early April at the time doing a Midwest ballpark crawl, and the day of the game, it was rainy, very cold, and the game was delayed 5 hours before it was able to be played.

I am NEVER going to forget that ballpark.

I'm sure the place is pretty decent is normal weather, that that day, the weather was miserable.

Chicago is an extrodanary place, I had a great time visiting there.

Sorry you missed the game today.
