This is the time for drastic changes in the organization.   The fact that people tolerate losing consistently like this for so long is unacceptable.

Any other professional organization would make changes.   Big changes.

for a year you've been touting that a significant solution would've been the manager. staying away from that scenario, go upstairs to the front office and tell us what you'd do to address the concerns we all have about this team and get the angels back on a winning track.

Actually that is not correct.  My early - mid season aim was higher.  Perry and the executive suite.

But as the season progressed it became apparrant that the staff was not the right fit as well.

No one seems to care

all of us care (to varying degrees otherwise we wouldn't be here, discussing it day after day after day.

the staff doesn't control injuries or recovery time.

and a nebulus statement like "Perry and the executive suite" doesn't unveil what you think needs to be done. don't hold back -- lay it out in detail.

The culture needs to change.  People who can accomplish that should be brought in at all levels.

I've been saying that all year.

Also, we shouldn't accept "the Angels had bad luck with injuries" excuse.

Pretty sad state of affairs.Back to back losses to the Sox in close games they couldn't pull out.

So many useless batters forever trying to pull the ball and striking out or hitting weak grounders.

And they pay a hitting coach? To conform to analytics rather than actually trying to adjust situationally? The same tired old futile stuff.

Calhoun and Contreras were/are the only batters who shortened up on occasion and had compact swings.  Which has to go together with a good eye and taking what the pitcher gives them.

The squeeze play may be the hilite of Washington's season. And maybe of the team. Actually strategizing and executing a play to score a run with a risky inner diamond move.

And with so many base running blunders and poor bunting techniques this season it's a rare thing actually seeing it work.

I've seen enough to know its some players doing what they believe is best rather than accepting coaching. Moniak is the best example. The brief times of success is the result of a more compact swing.  Like clockwork,  as soon as prosperity happens for Moniak, his swing returns to the long looping pull heavy shitty swing resulting with predictably bad at bats. Neto sometimes strays from fundamentals but seems to return to what works sooner than later.

Minasian has assembled an awful roster. He has been in charge long enougj to be held accountable.

I think we know how he’d do this. He’d put out another power rankings post and show it to Perry and say look…this is my research. Do this.

What he’d do is tell you what happened and then make false equivalence of why it happened. What he won’t do is actually tell you what he’d do moving forward to improve it or what the next step after that to improve it. But then again, that’s a lot of us.

Same old BS as Perry hires RW and he spreads the false hope. This team stinks plain and simple and hard decisions need to be made this off season. Total rebuild needs to take place. I'd leave zero players that I would not listen on trades. Fire RW he has proven too old to manage young players. Give that pancake glove back to Denny's softball team. Dump Rendon, ask Trout if he would like to be traded and yes Arte would have to pay at least half his contract. Next season have all military personnel get half off on tickets during week. Weekends kids under 12 half off with paying adult. Get rid of that monkey. These are some of things I'd do. Plus sign Lorenzen and trade for Vidal Brujan.

First thing I’d do is put an anonymous suggestion box in Perry’s office. Then put a sign over the clubhouse that says believe. That should do the trick.

as for the injuries they need to bring in Jobu.

They need real MLB level spending on conditioning/training and medical.

Why ends are they always in the upper third in MLB for days lost due to injury over this pathetic 9 years of losing?

you're mancrush on lorenzen is as mystifying as stonehenge.

and he hardly fits in with your "tear it all down and rebuild" approach.

Angels will still need a rotation for 2025 and again he had a decent year for little money. Lorenzen again was traded at deadline for prospects so no he does fit in a rebuild.
