Despite the HR last night, I thought Lopez might get a breather today after that embarrassing play on the pop-up.

Davis Martin gets the start for Chicago.

I can understand playing him. If he didn't put in effort then yeah, bench his ass. He just royally fucked up. Sitting him after that could be demoralizing. 

Not that it matters. Just saying why I understand him playing today.

I guess.  I'm just to the point where I personally don't care if Jack Lopez is demoralized.  Lol.

This will help him in future as halo 2B. Think about who Angels have at 2B in 2025. Next opening day Jack Lopez is at 2B. Nothing on FA market nothing in minors and nothing to trade for one. In a rebuild Jack Lopez is cheap.

Wtf is going on with Neto?  His head is not in the game tonight.  Now a high throw on a pretty routine play.

Suarez's velocity is way down from what it's been in his recent bullpen outings and his last start.  Not a surprise at all he looks like his "old self."
