So should it be the LA Angels, Anaheim Angels or California Angels?

I'm not sure if you've noticed but it has been about 20 years as LA Angels.

Well it can’t be California and the LA produces more revenue, so I’d choose the one that is beneficial to the team, regardless of who owns it.
Something that has become vogue on social media is comparing the Ducks approach to the Angels approach and it just ignores the reality of how much money is generated by local tv in baseball compared to hockey.  One is called Anaheim and so they “embrace” their community, while the other team is called LA and is losing so they don’t embrace their community. 
When things are bad people focus on very stupid things.

The product is so bad, I don’t care what the team is called.  

I maybe watched 4 games this season. I attended none. 
 

The team name is not the first thing that needs to change. Get everything else right, and then worry about that.  It’s really unimportant.

They did. They chose LA. 20 seasons ago. LA Of A was to fulfill lease terms, and that expired 10 seasons ago. 

It's been LA Angels since 2016.

I said before that Anaheim should change its name to “California” so the Angels would be playing in California, California just like the Yankees play in New York, New York.

Then they could call the team the California Angels again, named after the city not the state.

Its about owning your stadium location as part of your team name. It should be the New Jersey Giants and New Jersey Jets. It's not a city or even county conflict, it's an entire state. By your own accord, they need to own it, they are the Meadowlands, they are New Jersey.
