A statement from Cuba's Foreign Ministry late Tuesday acknowledged that the military equipment belonged to the Caribbean nation, but said it had been shipped out to be repaired and returned to the island.

 

And as we all know, North Korea is world renowned for their expertise in repairing sophisticated electronic defense systems.

 

I know that Cuba isn't the richest country on the planet, but if you're sending anything to North Korea to be fixed, you're short on brains.

 

Nice attempt at explanation, though. I wonder if they believe that anyone buys it.
