it's weird - we haven't heard any early fireworks go off this year. usually, we hear plenty of them starting as early as the last week of june, but not a single one so far this year.

We’ve been hearing them every night for the last week. We never heard them in CA.

hearing is fine. family hasn't heard anything either, and the cats haven't noticed anything as well (and they're both pretty sensitive to the sound of fireworks).

I'm sure that ours will go well into the night. Our dog loses it when fireworks start.

A day that holds mixed emotions for me. A day of national celebration, and the day that I lost a dear friend in the UK. We connected on a baseball message board, and it grew into a friendship that lasted for over a decade. I visited him at his home in 2001.

we had fireworks starting around 10 pm tonight. it's 12:30 and we're still hearing a few here and there.

Ours started at around 8:30 and ended at nearly 1 AM.

The last one I heard was about 10:15 last night. There are some going off now though. Happy 5th!
