I still don't really get why they don't just start Suarez or Fulmer, then use Joyce later, but whatever...

Looking at the Giants lineup, this is how I’d try and navigate it:

Joyce: batters 1-7

Suarez: batters 8-19

Fulmer: batters 20-27

then leverage guys (García/Strickland/Moore)

Obviously, things change as the game evolves. If a pitcher is struggling, gotta take them out and can’t just hang with em.

Adell's June performance is almost impressive: .120/.196/.220 in 46 PA, 19 Ks.

April: .316/.365/.614, 14 Ks in 63 PA

May: .144/.212/.389, 33 Ks in 100 PA

June: .122/.196/.220, 19 Ks in 46 PA

Since May 1st, he's hitting .137/.207/.336 with 52 Ks in 146 PA.

TLDR: Josephine Adell sucks

Why don't we look at his overall numbers in leadoff instead of a selected small sample size?
