He's been pitching really well recently.  But, yes, he has one option year left.  I don't see any reason they'd use it.

Yep, I thought he'd always be clueless out there and would eventually figure it out at the plate.  The reverse seems to be the case.  Gonna be funny if he ends up having a long career as a defense-first fourth OF type.

of course the halos will keep canning that be really dumb not too...he is 65th in era in all of MLB plus almost all his runs usually come from horrible bullpen play behind him !

That is not true.  Coming into this game, 22 of the 36 earned runs he has been charged with came in innings 1-3, which are obviously all his responsibility.  In today's game, he's been directly responsible for all 4 runs.

i'm just glad we drafted an ace in Soriano ! Just hope someone in the minors is ready for a starting pitching role if we trade Anderson? Sandoval is improving finally so we will see how it goes moving forward?

The Angels didn't draft Soriano. They signed him as an international free agent. They then lost him in the Rule 5 draft to the Pirates, but got him back when the Pirates didn't keep him on their roster.

We've already been over this. Neto has been terrible out of the leadoff spot so far in his career, and Washington has said that he (Washington) prefers him lower in the lineup so he (Neto) doesn't put too much pressure on himself.
