...and he hit another one.  Lol.

And to think, if he could do that in the majors the Angels wouldn't have him in Salt Lake.

In 2023 Adell hit .273/.375/.586/.961 with 24 home runs in 74 games in Salt Lake. That didn't translate.

Yeah, I'm not saying I think he'll do well in the majors.  It's just fun to watch.  He has 9 HR in 55 at bats since the Angels signed him.  Last year, he had 23 HR and 79 RBI in 88 games in the minors with a .311/.397/.563 slash line.

Hiura could very well be a 4-A player, but let's not pretend that some guys took a minute to finally figure shit out and become successful in the big leagues.

One not mentioned in this article was Phil Nevin, a former 1st round pick who finally started performing in the big leagues at the age of 27. The same age as Hiura.

Also, some things just don't make sense. See Willie Calhoun who has better numbers in the big leagues (by a little) than he did in the hitter friendly confines of the PCL.

Guillorme and Pillar completely sucking with the teams they started the season off with and looking great with the Angels.

Apples to Oranges.

Not sure where he would fit in but he’s making it hard not to try something. He’s not an OF’er (although he has some OF time) but Adell and Moniak are so bad you wonder if you could play him in RF. Not an obvious way to juggle the roster to do that.

Only after visiting his buddy Shawn Ray.
