Gameday Thread (6/9/24): Astros @ Angels: Sandoval on the mound, Stefanic leading off, Schanuel dropped to 7th

Team scored 9 runs and Stefanic (1) and Ward (3) went a combined 0-10 at the top of the lineup. 

I do like Stefanic at leadoff over Schanuel though. Hope to never see him in the leadoff spot again.

If Drury he can get healthy, I might play him at 1b and give Schanuel some AAA time. You also have to wonder if Rendon (I know, I know) is reasonably close, based on what we’ve heard. If both Drury and Rendon get back, you have some decisions to make. Rengifo plays at 2b or 3b, Neto at SS. Beyond that, not sure.

Even though there have been videos of Rendon working out on the field before games, Washington said he's nowhere near ready--but, then again, Washington contradicts himself on a daily basis, so Rendon will probably be starting at 3B on Tuesday.

I still don't think they'll send down Schanuel unless he goes like 0 for 49 or something.
