How much longer for Sano?

How bad was that burn?

My guess is that he's basically back to square one in terms of ramping up once he does get back on the field. Probably at least a week before he'd be ready to come back to the majors.

Just in case people haven't looked at the Detmers thread: he's getting shredded at Salt Lake tonight.  3 IP, 8 H, 7 ER, 0 BB, 4 K, and has given up 4 HR and 2 2B.  Ouch.

It's a hitter's park?

Jesus.

He's gotta be hurt.

How could he fall apart so quickly?

Yeah, I think he might be hurt, too, tbh.  I noted that his velocity was down in his last start with the Angels, and in the game tonight (assuming the Salt Lake gun is correct), he only threw one pitch that hit 94--and in the 3rd and 4th innings, he was mostly sitting 91-92.  Obviously, he's not a guy who consistently throws in the upper 90s, but something isn't right, between the lowered velocity, decreasing spin rate, and mechanical issues.
