Not televised on MLB Extra Innings. I'm watching a pretty good low scoring game between the Dbacks and Giants. Who have as many injuries as the Angels. They just called up a 28 year old rookie first baseman for his first major league games after over 2500 plate appearances in the minors. Talk about perseverance! Trenton Brooks.

This is a spot where you wish you had another hitter who could mash LHP on the bench instead of Tucker.

You have Pillar. But if you use him for Calhoun, you don't have anyone to use for Moniak.

So do you use Pillar here or do you save Pillar in case one of the first two batters gets on and then PH with Pillar?

If you had someone else, you could PH for both. But alas, they don't.

Anderson is just another starter (aside from Detmers) who deserves a much better outcome than he’s going to get.

As was pointed out earlier in another post, the Angels starters have been really good the last 2 weeks and have a 1-9 record to show for it, I believe.

Just an absolute abysmal performance offensively from the whole team.

Adell on 1st with 2 outs and you don't try to steal. You bring in a pinch runner in Tucker and he doesn't try to steal. Meanwhile San Diego keeps stealing 2B without a throw.
