That may be the case, but that's my point: none of them were that good, so criticism of them was justified.  And, obviously, the constant injuries, bad signings, and weak talent didn't help!

Yeah, Hicks shouldn’t have been getting any ABs vs. RHP at the beginning of the season. I’m torn on the Pillar/Moniak thing, because I can see both sides. On one hand, you play the hot hand.

Moniak is basically Jeff Francoeur, a player with a bit of pop and flash who will get hot, but go through longer spells of total trash because he has no plate discipline. He's a 4th outfielder at best
