Dipoto now has a better job, how is that a false narrative? It didn’t  hurt DiPoto because the industry knows that working with Arte is difficult.

If Estevez and Garcia were really the only deals made, pretty clear that Moreno directed Perry to only move upcoming free agents. I can't imagine even an incompetent GM not moving one of Anderson, Rengifo, Ward, Detmers, Canning with the overpays that were happening.

Yep. Ward, Rengifo, Adell, etc will all just be kept through the remainder of their contracts and then sign elsewhere, while the team gets nothing and continues to win 70 games a year
