This is not on Wash.  It's on the players not executing.  If anything this is on Ward for allowing Alvarez to get to second base.  Dynamic changes if the middles were at DP depth.  Of course Estevez would have found a way to blow this anyway.

In the past few days, I've heard we'd be .500 with better managing, better defense, a better bullpen, and better hitting with RISP.  Nice.  So, essentially, the Angels could be .500 with an entirely different personnel group.  Good to know.
