2024 home run celebration

In 2022 players wore a cowboy hat after hitting homer. Last year it was the kabuto.

What do you think they'll wear this year?

I hope it's nothing. It's time to stop glorifying the Home Run. I'd much rather have the batter hit the ball to the right side with less than 2 outs and a runner on 2B, 80% of the time rather than swing for the fences and hit a Home Run 5% of the time, while striking out 30% of the time.

Did you not get excited about Trout's home run yesterday or did you just sit there mumbling about a hit to the right side would have been better? Because I know I yelled and fist pumped when it went out.

 I would rather they celebrate a win than a home run. Was pathetic to watch the hr celebration when they lose 5-1.

Nothing as in some games losing by 8 or 9 runs guy hits HR and have to put on some stupid hat.

I was excited because Trout ST was not great. Realized after game Trout in weak lineup with little protection.

There's a time and place for everything. 

If they want to celebrate a home run when they have the lead, fine. 

When they're down 8-1 and someone hits a solo homer in the 8th inning, and they have to put on a stupid hat, it's just...cringey.

I think they should start with a large photo of Ohtani on the big screen at home, and every time they hit a home run the picture should get a little smaller until it disappears.

I believe I retired it. It suffered too much sun damage hanging from my office wall
