Only give the larger deals to your own players that haven’t reached 30 yet.   Rengifo is a good example (only 28 next season, FA after 2025).

When we did that to Hamilton, he returned to the Rangers and damaged us when we actually had real chances to reach the postseason

Thankfully, it doesnt matter what he does in another uniform, we have no chance of having postseason chances
