All smart rich people create a nonprofit for tax purposes.

In that case it barely seems worth it.

They should just stop doing them all together then, screw those who benefit.

So sick of this guys constant negative spins combined with the shit for brains attitude.

wrong side of this fence.

Why is the side of the fence that you're on the right side?

Are you just intolerant of any other opinions?

Looking forward to a "Strad" answer.

There was a time, place and a person where we/me would just drag you to the other side of the "fence".

Thankfully as I have grown as a person I have become more accepting and tolerant of differing opinions. It appears that you have not experienced that same kind of growth as a person.

To the contrary, you are probably more set in your ways and less patient of alternate opinions, than you have ever been.

Good job buddy!

Not at all but thank you. I’m less tolerant of ignorance these days because good information is right at your fingertips. I love differing opinions if it’s teaching me something I didn’t know. It’s why I enjoy reading IP and Doc’s stuff. But if it’s ignorant  information like Rendon doesn’t care or he hates baseball or he’s stealing money, or he hates the fans because he doesn’t talk to Blum, yea I think those idiotic opinions.

All smart rich people create a nonprofit for tax purposes.

Foundations are created as a vehicle for philanthropy. Foundations are required to give away 10% of their assets every year. Rich people who want to benefit from "tax purposes" create Donor Advised Funds. DAFs are not required to distribute money on an annual basis.

Nonprofits exist to serve the greater good... Wounded Warriors, City of Hope, St. Jude Children's Hospital, PBS,  museums, The Nature Conservancy, etc.

Rendon wants to serve veterans, not get a tax break. Charitable giving is rarely driven by tax purposes.

This is good info. Thank you.

Because my side says he’s injured. Your side makes him a villain, that hates baseball, is a clubhouse cancer, who fakes injuries, who is lazy and is stealing money.  It’s very simple to be on the right side of this. There’s your Strad answer.

Chuck is the one who posted the thread about Rendon being known for having the worst attitude in the MLB and hating baseball. You act like people pulled that idea out of their asses.

They’ve been saying this about Rendon for a couple years. Chuck’s nugget about Rendon happened around September. I know the source on that one and it isn’t affiliated with the Angels.

And yes they pulled it out of their ass, not Chuck, but the fans.

So Chuck was just trying to stir up controversy?

They have been saying that about him since he was at Rice.  It's only a talking point currently because he's not performed.

Baseball loves red-asses (and goofballs), fans more than anyone else.

I think Chuck was disgruntled by his performance and reported what he heard. The source is in the baseball world, but more of a national guy than a local guy. He certainly has no ties to the Angels as it relates to he’s never worked for the team or played for the team.

Do you have any ties to the organization?

"GA didn't dive for that ball. Again. What a lazy bum!"

"Erstad ran into another wall, and even though he hurt his shoulder and can't swing very effectively now, man, what an effort! I wish our whole team was like him!"

We will revisit in June Strad when he's on the IL again.

Fair enough?

Probably not.

The .369 SLG% while healthy through mid-May is a huge concern.

That piggy backed the .380 SLG% in 2021-22.

Seems that he has little power since 2021.

Thats the thing...  He was fisting everything.  Dude's lower body was non-existent and yet he was putting up a .400 OBP making it so he wasn't a black hole.

Tell you what was funny people were acting like Urshela replacing Rendon was this massive upgrade offensively, the dude put up a .766 OPS from the time he replaced Rendon to when he broke down.  He was a downgrade who hit all of 1 HR during that span but because he wasn't Rendon...  At least his defense was an upgrade

Rendon could break his foot kicking puppies and Strad would be like, "It's not his fault he got injured."

Of course I’d blame him for getting hurt kicking a puppy. I’d blame him if he got hurt in the scuffle with Seattle. Again your reading comp is based on your opinion of Rendon.

You lived through it -- you know thats exactly how it was.  Then there was that other horrible guy..  Jim Edmonds...  Did you see him smile after a loss?  What a cancer!
