i'm always surprised that billy horshel does so well in these end of year playoffs. he's a steady golfer but he doesn't win much at all, and he never really stands out as a top player from week to week.

but yet, every year, he's in the playoffs.

Something is wrong with Rory. His game is falling off a cliff.

He was always the 3rd place finisher in majors for nearly a decade and now with domestic difficulties he is fading away. He has hit that age 35 wall. But don't feel bad for him, he has banked about $170 million.

It’s Amanda Balionis fault.  I blame her, but it was probably worth it.

wait, what? are they a couple? she just got married like a year or two ago.

she's smoking hot.

Rumor is/was her and Rory hooked up prior to his divorce announcement before the US Open.  She then took a 2 week “vacation” before rejoining CBS Golf, but then announced she’s quitting the PGA and joining NFL on CBS.

And she’s now divorced.  Maybe all just a coincidence.  Who knows?

X-Man started slow today, +2 through 6 holes to fall to even par.    Then had 7 birdies in the final 12 holes to climb to a tie for 5th after 3 rounds.   He’s ready for the Tour Championship next weekend.

Meanwhile, Scheffler fell back to tie for 35th with a +2 round.

Scottie Scheffler just shanked a shot out of the bunker on 8 that looked like a weekend hacker’s shot.

He is having some serious trouble right now and Morikawa is now only 4 shots back after starting 7 back.

well, that was quite a display of golf talent. my goodness. gave off a lot of tiger vibes with how he regrouped and took care of business.

what a year. seven wins, an olympic gold medal, the fedex cup, another major, and the birth of his first child. this is about as good as it gets.

it was fun to watch scheffler this year, and i'm looking forward to see what he does next.

If that was a regular stroke play tourney, with no added strokes, Scheffler (-20) loses to Morikawa (-22) and Theegala (-21). This is about the dumbest idea on the PGA tour that you give strokes to the best players. It is the complete opposite of their handicapping rules for amatuers to create a level playing field.
