The Dodgers are starting to resemble the Angels of the past decade with all these injuries piling up. Maybe Ohtani took the curse with him.

But losing Stone and now Teo, combined with Miller and Buehler's struggles, plus concerns about Yamamoto's shoulder—things aren't looking good for them.

Teoscar might be a big loss for them. After him, the lineup takes a big drop. Smith has struggled, and Muncy hasn't been the same power threat.

it'll be interesting to see how Yamatoma responses back from  Shoulder issues

Yea it’s awful. How can you not feel sorry for a team that spent a billion dollars this past off season.

Yet they’re in first place by 4 games and have the second best record in baseball.

Having an actual scouting and development system means you have depth and don’t become the Angels when your superstar gets injured.

eighteen days ago, bowden francis of the blue jays took a no-hitter into the ninth against the angels, and lost it when he gave up a leadoff homerun to taylor ward.

today, francis once again went into the ninth against the mets with a no-no, only to give up a leadoff homer to francisco lindor. the blue jays were leading 1-0 as this happened. francis was removed, and not only lost the no-hitter, but will receive a no decision for all of his hard work.

alas, the blue jays bullpen was crappy once more, and they gave up another 5 runs. it's now the bottom of the ninth, and the mets are up 6-1.

That guy needs to fake a heart attack after the 8th inning next time.

Judge is now hitting .333/.465/.736 with 51 HR, 226 wRC+ and 9.6 fWAR.

The 226 wRC+ is just ridiculous. Only Ruth (twice), Bonds (three times), and Williams (once) have had seasons of 220 or higher.

The Yankees still have 30 games left, so those numbers can still swing significantly. But right now he's on pace for an 11.8 WAR.

Judge's homerless streak stretched to a career-high 16 games
