Players have done worse in this league that were found guilty mind you and still have been signed or traded for by teams.

Ok. This is a different time where social media popularity causes a different level of awareness to issues. Bauer was complicit in bringing his situation to light. Teams are signing him because he’s not worth it, in the teams eyes, not because Manfred told them not to sign him.

I can’t believe people still want this to happen. Let’s take a franchise with scandal after scandal after scandal and add Trevor Bauer. Idiots.

We can always use this as a teachable moment. We can sign Bauer and all future players with a sexual purity clause.

In the Mexican Leagues:

10-0 2.48 ERA, 83 IP, 120 Ks, 1.003 WHIP for the Diablos Rojos del Mexico

why not take a flyer on him?

I'm sure 29 other fanbases have asked the same thing. Yet he still remains unsigned.

I'm not going to open this can of worms, again. But I have no opinion either way. Could he help the team? Sure. Do I understand why we haven't signed him? Yes.

Let It Go Disney GIF

41-year-old Robinson Cano hit .431/.475/.639 in the same league this year.  Why don't we sign him, too?

Erick Leal went 8-1 with a 2.91 ERA, 80 1/3 IP, 95 K, 1.158 WHIP.  Why don't we sign him?
