There was a report late last night saying he’s signing a 10 year $485 million contract with an opt out after year two with the Dodgers.  Obviously it hasn’t been confirmed yet so it is probably bullshit. On Twitter the need to be the first to report something far outweighs the accuracy of reporting something.

My source says he’s going to sign with two teams. One as a hitter and the other as a pitcher. They will each be 20 year deals.

The structure of that deal doesn't even make sense, anyway.  I find it hard to believe a team that would offer him 10/485 would give him an opt-out.

You are probably right. Depends on development of young players and any signings. I just hope this off season halos stay away from long term contracts that end up being bad.
