I have always been a Patrick Sandoval fan.  I’ve always had high hopes and expectations for him, especially after watching him pitch in the World Baseball Classic.

Not so much anymore.  He has potential, but my God, he needs to toughen up mentally.  Seriously.

The ball is coming out of his hand well. He's just working on some things.

I think the radio broadcast might have canned crowd noise because it will totally cease at random moments. Those two guys are broadcasting from the empty Big A, and it's a two-bit operation. I looked up the producer/engineer whose name Terry loves to say with a dramatic flourish, and from what I could gather is more of a PR man than an engineer.

It’s stupid, more cheap Arte Moreno.

On Sportsnet (Canada) they think so little of west coast games that they just 'join them in progress'. This whole series is like that. Even tomorrow's afternoon game. God forbid that they disrupt their eastern programming schedule. So mercifully this time I missed the first six innings.

And what's with the missed popups in the infield? Yesterday O'Hoppe, tonight Schamuel.

We get cold here in Bixby Knolls for about three days in mid-January.

Is Joe Jost’s near Bixby Knolls?  I only ask because when I took my wife there a few weeks ago, it was kind of chilly.  Not Big Bear Chilly, but dive bar chilly.  And totally awesome.
