His presidency was milquetoast. Not the worst ever (not even close), but not worthy of a cult following.

I actually like a couple things he did. I like the First Step Act. I like that he officially made animal cruelty a felony. No war BS, etc...

I don't like what he has said. I don't like that he's on par with Biden mentally now. I don't like how religion has become synonymous with politics for the GOP.

Will another Trump presidency destroy the country? No. But neither will a Kamala Harris presidency, because she is not a communist.

There are literally subreddits for communists and they fucking hate AOC and Bernie Sanders and basically the entire government. And this is REDDIT. Like, the most liberal/left bias site and social media on the internet. Trust me, we do not live in a communist state, nor will we ever. This has been rotting your brains since the late 1920's.

Unfortunately Trump continued Obama’s support of Saudi Arabia with the conflict in Yemen and even escalated it. He tries to pass off the no war thing but is it’s just revisionist history. No new wars doesn’t mean he didn’t continue them.

I won't watch the DNC convention but just hope Kotchman doesn't take any stimulants when watching.  That place is going to be Commie-Con.

Fair. Considering our history I think not starting a war is worth a cookie.

I agree. But when you veto a bill to stop  military assistance with another countries war (interesting tidbit based off current political talking points in 2024, not sure where the complaints were back in 2019) seems somewhat hollow with the whole no war talking point.

Kamala and tampon Tim are pretty left wing. Everyone with a brain knew Obama was lying with his campaign stance on marriage and the means he would use to pass Obamacare and he started the trend of Dems governing left of their campaign positions. Kamala is dodging serious questioning to hide her own mental limitations.

I appreciate your honesty with religion. I do feel the majority of dem voters don’t approve of the insane positions their party supports. I believe most simply reject Christianity at all cost.

Former President Trump said Monday night that Vice President Kamala Harris' team told his campaign that she would not participate in a Fox News presidential debate on September 4.

The proposed debate would have been held in Pennsylvania and moderated by Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.

So he's agreed to two debates on lib channels, but she won't go on Fox

Those tariffs are still in place btw.

Well, yeah, but Harris is going to do something about that. Like the border. And the economy. And fracking. And server tip taxation. She is going to take care of all of that in her first 100 days.

Yep. Of all the things Biden undid, that should have number one. Trump’s promising more if elected. So we’ll see how that goes.

Why do you fear a Trump presidency? Your money obviously went further. Socially, what policy did he impose that threatened your freedom?

I kind of enjoy democracy. That part where he tried to take that away - I didn’t really appreciate that. I also don’t want my daughter deprived of reproductive health care due to the judges he appointed. I don’t like to see minorities vilified and I don’t want my leader to divide. I don’t want church or guns in schools.

You basically line up with the democrats on everything but taxes. I’ll argue Biden has said more racist things than Trump and class warfare is primarily a Democrat strategy.
At some point we have to recognize humanism and evolution are religions themselves. Teach them all or none.
Your daughter’s reproductive rights have never been in jeopardy. What you are seeking is her right to be sexually active without judgment or consequences. Government can’t fix that desire with any law.

More than 28% of Americans are now searching for a new job — the highest rate in a decade.

A new labor market survey shows Americans have rarely felt more in need of new job opportunities — an indication of a more negative outlook about the economy despite other data that suggests a more stable picture.

The New York Federal Reserve's latest poll of consumers found 28.4% of respondents were looking for a job — the highest reading since March 2014 and up from 19.4% a year ago. That includes both individuals already out of a job and ones currently employed but seeking new roles.

Expectations of losing one’s job also hit a record, the new survey found: The average expected likelihood of becoming unemployed rose to 4.4%, up from 3.9% a year ago and the highest level ever recorded for the survey, which goes back to 2014.

The candidate that best expresses this should win the election.

Their ain’t as true as it once was. If it was about the economy, Trump is winning in a landslide

I actually saw earlier today someone complaining that the day workers you see at Home Depot are asking for 30$+ an hour or 250$ a day.  But you know what, they are getting it.  If you want to work there is plenty of it out there and the pay is better than it's ever been.

There is some truth in this. Unfortunately for the common man , Home Depot passes this increases directly to us at the check out counter. In the end , this isn’t a win for entry level workers.

I am socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I generally want the government to butt the fuck out. I don’t want them legislating who can get married, I don’t want a national religion, and I don’t want them infringing on reproductive rights.

And why shouldn’t a woman be allowed to be sexually active without consequence? Why should the government care about whether a woman has an abortion? Religion can’t be the reason. And I know Republicans don’t actually care about the child because they won’t be in favor of any financial/social support for the mom and child once the child is born.

Home Depot doesn’t pay day laborers which you’re confusing with Home Depot employees.

Also, as usual Rico gives random anecdotal evidence or some ridiculous fun with numbers to make a ridiculous point.

If you can offer that to single men, no consequences, they cannot be held financially responsible to child support for a pregnancy they didn't want, then your progressive argument has some equality. Otherwise it is just a single sided right to choose someone else's fate. Like a staunch right to life advocate.

I believe a woman can screw who she wants until she gets pregnant. At that point the kid has a right to life. We aren’t the First Nation or civilization to kill babies at or before birth. The protection of life and freedom was a major factor differentiating America from all previous empires. I dont mind temporarily helping any single mother and child. Our current welfare system is designed to keep minorities poor and forever dependent. The people that brought planned parenthood and abortion to America were pretty open in their hatred for minorities, their desire to clean up the gene pool , and implement population control in support of socialism. Nothing has changed.

Pick your industry. When wages are out of control the cost is passed to the consumer

This is a good point. Often overlooked baby killing, welfare , child support , and alimony were designed to empower women and destroy the nuclear family.
