Why is this place less active when we win?

Recommended Posts

I think many on this board live just to bash the Angels not support them.  However, to be fair when we had a lot of excitement on this board when we were winning divisions.  I think a lot is that those who are excited about our success right now are cautiously optimistic because we are so far back for the playoffs.  If we make a run and cut our deficit to 3 games instead of 9 games  you will see more activities after we win.

I love the bp right now

If we all play to our potential i dont think we need to make a move for an extra piece. We got all the right pieces. Hopefully Burnett can come back (reaching i know).

We've always had the pieces, just players weren't playing up to their potential so failos here blamed Sosh and Jerry....or whatever else made their little hearts content.

losing promotes controversy.

controversy promotes activity.

also, people still have negative stuff to post yet it's generally considered bad form around here to do so immediately following a solid win.

like if I were to post a thread about Trumbo being a wreck, people would call me out.  :)

That,10 K in the game and another E. Can't be TOO happy with a win, there's always room for improvement

Last several weeks we have been a top 3 team in baseball. Problem is the same as last year, the incredibly awful start with high expectations. Once we get past .500, get within 5 of our division, and pass up a couple more teams in the WC this place will be bumping.

I thought Jepsen pitched fine. Was ahead in counts and got unlucky with Beltran. The third batter had a good AB.

lol he pitched terrible. just watch the difference between him and weaver. he was throwing predictable 97mph fastballs while weaver was throwing 5 different pitches all at different speeds and locations. Weaver was keeping the hitters off balance and honestly could have went 1, and even two more innings.

I hope I didn't jinx them by coming on here tonight!  I'm going to the game tomorrow, good vibes hopefully!  The last game I went to was that massive comeback a couple of weeks ago.

I've been busy in the last week or so with the expansion/name change of my rock news website (AlternativeNation.net, cheap plug) so that's taken up most of internet time recently.  AngelsWin and porn has had to sit on the backburner.

I'm still giddy about the GREAT pitching performances tonight. Cardinals are a good offensive group and its tough to shut them down. The only thing that was missing was a Albert bomb. I want to see him do well against this team and think he will. Look out beetches!

I'm super stoked and looking forward to more wins.

I was busy tonight entertaining family visiting in town, as tomorrow is their last night.

I've been teasing my father in law though as the Angels have won 9-11 since he's arrived. For the first time ever, I don't want him to leave.
