Misery loves company, and we will have more company in a few weeks with more teams eliminated.

Right now, only four other teams are out of it and 10 are still hopeful.

Last five years, with five different teams: .240 BA, .304 OBP, 109 OPS+

Lots of strikeouts, but he averages 34 home runs over a full season. Basically looking for the fences.

Nice work from Silseth. 84 pitches through five. Worked out of a couple of threatening situations. Let's see how far he can go. More run support would help.

I feel better about Chase going forward as a part of the rotation than Detmers/Sandy right now. 
 

Of course I’ve felt this way about both of them in the past so what do I know.

Can't take him out of the game because he has to pitch the 7th inning.  So sad.

I haven't paid attention to who (if anyone) is warming up, but they could go to Lopez or Moore for the 7th, whichever of those two doesn't pitch in the 8th, and then Estevez in the 9th.
