Nah that Royals loss is worse. 6 run lead in the 7th vs the worst team in baseball that was on a 10 game losing streak and you blow it. Dodgers are a good team(not as good as they've been in prior years) and the Angels haven't been good vs quality opponents all season long. Results aren't that surprising. Was nice to see them take 3 of 4 from Texas considering how they've looked vs those kinds of teams all season

What an annoying couple of games, even more annoying being against a dodgers team that was completely on the ropes and got embarrassed by SF for 3 games at home. 
 

offense decided to go into a DEEP sleep. I mean 0 runs in the 2 games is absolutely pathetic. Now have lost 3 of 4. Better find a way to stop the bleeding

They have been 100% incapable of building momentum the entire year. The reds have won 11 straight, why can’t this team do that….

Shohei pitched like an ace and the offense still hung a loss on him.

If we're buyers then buy a bat...zero production from the corner INF. And no Rendon is not the answer.

Don't even want to see Walsh take another swing...he's done!

Terrible fucking offense.  Pitching gave us a chance to win both.  Ohtani can’t carry the team two ways.   Move Trout down in the lineup or put his suck ass on the DL.

Of course he’s still lost.  Just because he could hit a 90 mph Greinke “fastball” for a home run doesn’t mean he actually fixed anything.  There’s a lot of ignorant fans on this board that clearly never played.

Renfroe's early success is a distant memory. Ward and Trout have settled into average production at best. Mostly below recently. Moniak isn't adding anything now. 

And the infield is worse! Drury is holding his own, but without Rendon, Urshella and Neto it's not even credibly major league. Walsh is a lost cause, Rengifo won't come close to last year's numbers. Velasquez is an automatic out. And now Wallach has gotten cold. 

Frustrating that the pitching has mostly been respectable to good. But with this lineup they have to be excellent. And the last games even that didn't help.

Story of the last 10 seasons or so. The moment one part of the team finally starts improving (the starting pitching in this case) we either get hit with injuries or another aspect completely falls apart. Definitely a psychological aspect here
