Pins and needles for sure, but there is also a silver lining here, too. Estevez is slam-the-door reliable, normally. All good closers have a rare off day. The sign of a good bullpen is that you have someone capable to come in with these types of situations and clean it all up with little to no damage. Webb was one pitch away from completely slamming the door, but he ended up closing it firmly enough. Great win against a quality opponent. Even better, it was a team in our division ahead of us. I will take 3 of 4 each and every time against the top-tier teams, though a sweep is better. LOL Webb picking up the closer speaks volumes and can give the BP an extra shot of confidence.

2 innings out of 4 games we stumbled.

We stole 2, hung in the 3rd, and Ohtani with a highlight night to seal it.

I think he pretty much slammed the door shut on his last outing. His ERA is not indicative of any recent struggles.
