Starting pitching has been thoroughly disappointing

Guy questions you and asks for a link.
Link is provided: that link doesn’t count because I’m too ignorant to read it.

Next time save us both the time and just say, “regardless of information I’m not changing my mind”

Hey dude if you can't sniff out bullshit before  you substantiate the BS than you're in real trouble in life.

The worst pitcher on the team is shifting blame...it's common with people in life.

Ok. So virtually every pitcher on the team chose to throw more sliders, less fastballs less splitters.

Idk man...is anyone else making it a issue in the media?

Or just the shittiest pitcher on the team?

You asked for a link. It was provided. You don’t think it has merit, ok. But each pitcher I’ve checked has a big difference in pitch usage with everyone throwing more sliders. It’s a team philosophy that only needs the eye test.

Strad it's a link, not Gods testimony...

And again it's coming from the worst pitcher on the staff.

Maybe it's true, but where is your grain of salt?

Why not?  Because a struggling pitcher wouldn’t know if he’s pitching and sequencing differently than in the past?

Regardless of how he’s pitching, he would know.

Lol at struggling..He "struggled" last year...he is "struggling" again this year.

At what point is he not. struggling" and just sucks?

And yes if your most struggling, suckiest,  crappy pitcher over a long period of time is blaming other factors than it not only a bad look for him,but has to be taken with a salt shaker

I always thought it was a strategy game similar to the Civ series? Just a different setting (space). I love strategy games.

Now I’m going to play it and lose 200 hours of my life. Better than watching the halos I suppose. Thanks Taylor!!

The game only takes about 15 to 20 hours to beat.

Media asked him a question, he answered. I am not a Loup fan, I don't like specialists.  But a case can be made that he's been extremely unlucky.

Loup is sporting a .412 BaBIP despite a near career low exit velocity of 84.8 -- he's in the 94th percentile and in the 89th for barrels.  He is walking too many and not striking people out -- so that's on him, but someone giving up that little hard contact shouldn't be sporting a +400 batting average on balls in play.

But the man definitely needs to buy into what they are telling him because his cutter and to a much lesser degree his sinker (BABIP). have been getting pretty lit up.

Loup has allowed a .467 batting average off his sinker, despite producing an average exit velocity of 81.8.

1. Othani, a f'n beast! true number 1

2. Sandy; between a 2-3, more of a 3 do to lack of ability to get deep into games.

3. Reid, he starting to enter the dangerous Heaney territory. Just too many slider and fastball. At the moment, he has a 40% Fastball and slider usage rate. Gotta start using that curve more as hitters are only hitting .171. against it!  Adding that curve will also improve the slider and fastball.

4. Anderson, to be honest I have really watched Anderson pitch much this season. But, the few times I have watched, it seems like the issue is with his command/control. It's a waiting game.

5. Canning, I think's he been better than what the ERA suggests. Last start screwed his era up, due to Renfore inability to catch a catchable ball. But he's a guy that I think you can plug in to got 5/6inngs allowing 3 runs. So a solid 3/4.

6. Suarez......get this guy out of the starting rotation.

Even if these guys show improvement, I still think we need to go out an add atleast # 3 that has the ability to eat innings, guy like Giolito or Lynn

Really? I thought it was a longer game. 15-20 hours seems a bit short, but I suppose that’s better than a bloated game.

It's probably a different kind of game than what you're thinking. It's sort of like Myst in space. Sort of.

Yeah, I was a lot beered up last night and disgusted with the team.

I admit to not reading the article because of the paywall.

I have no problem saying I'm wrong if indeed I am wrong, but on the surface it still sounds like a BS excuse.
