Adellgate (Adell unhappy?)

I say trade him for a prospect pitcher and a bag of balls. Don't need him moping around Salt Lake with his piss poor woo is me attitude. If I was the GM, I would have started to make phone calls the minute I found out about his IG shenanigans'.  He had a chance to preform and failed. He could have taken his situation to motivate himself but he chose to take the low road. BYE!

And the team that gets him would be wise to buy him a first baseman's glove and a new hitting coach because he simply cannot play outfield. I am not saying he would work out at 1st base either but you gotta try something.

You think this because he changed his profile? If he isn't committed to being the best player he can be, why is he, on his own dime, at Driveline working on his game? If he were moping then he'd be at home eating Krispy Cremes and watching daytime tv.

Everybody, quit being teenage girls about this. You act like you've all been unfriended and are taking it to the PMS level.

Once again, Adell went to Driveline, and continued to work on his game at the Tempe complex because he realizes that there are holes in his game, and that pure athletic ability will no longer keep him in the major leagues.

If he puts in the work, and shows progress, he can still earn the job as our regular LF, or RF.  He will have to earn it, though.  We signed Renfroe and Phillips for just that reason, and we also kept Moniak, for the same reasons.

Adell is still a young player, but if he doesn't figure it out, at least this season the team will have more than one fallback option.

Indeed, that was a big fail last season - we depended far too much on Adell and Marsh - got lucky with Ward (but injuries to him and Trout doomed any hope for the season.)

Perry should've been fired if he entered this season depending on Adell again.

I hope Adell succeeds - but he has to be realistic - he's not been able to contribute at this level and if he wants to play in the majors, he has to improve. I hope he's not harboring some resentment because he thinks he deserves a roster spot - because if he's honest with himself, he doesn't.

Oh.  So he’s wasn’t being ungrateful.  He was leveling up his grind mindset.

i wonder if this is a case of being even more wrong then the Kyle Kubitza saga.  Who can say.

Lmao. waiting on SecondBase to come in with a vague reference to "scouts" who don't believe Jo is honest with the media.

He only turns 24 this April.

His usual offense comp, Buxton, didn’t hit solidly until his age 25 season.

Let him take advantage of having one more option year, hopefully breaking out in AAA this season; and if necessary, finally showing something later on this season at the MLB level.

I don't think he'll ever be a great, or even average, MLB player. It happens a lot. Ask Mariners about Kelenic.

i haven't seen any kelenic videos or IG posts here, and he definitely doesn't have angels in his profile. so, he's clearly not serious about his job.

for real though, adell post some videos of you making good reads shagging balls off the bat and i'll give you 13 pages of love.
