I'd never heard of him until just now.  Looking at his stats, though, he seems to be very productive when healthy (I'm assuming he's been injured the past couple of years, given how few starts he's had).  K'ed almost 13 per 9 in his minor league career thus far.

WTFH is Cy McCarty, and what pitches from him are that hard to hit?

Only a bunt single in 3.1 innings?

Good news is the next 5 games after today are the last ones in 2022 against currently over .500 teams.

Need 7-13 record after today to avoid tying franchise record for losses (95).

Bottom of the 8th. Trout's streak is in Jeopardy and has no chance of happening unless the Angels score some runs in the top of the 9th. Highly doubtful for sure but it was an awesome run.
