Baseball is such a crazy game. The Blue Jays are coming off a three-game sweep of the Red Sox and currently hold a wild card berth, yet get blown out by the lowly Angels.

And hey: After tonight's game, Adell is at 0.0 WAR on the year.

That was fun to hear unfolding yesterday.

White was a solid pitcher before yesterday, former Doyyer.

Detmers was a little iffy on command, but showed the improved poise in not allowing any runs.

Novice like me can recognize that.  I was hoping someone with a little more knowledge of the mechanics of catching would give me an evaluation.
