i don't mean this to sound like a bitch, but i hope the angels do go on a massive losing streak. i'd like to see the circus, but mostly i'd like them to have a shot at the #1 overall pick. like lsu's dylan crews. an advanced moto college bat like that would go a long way toward getting the angels back on the right side, than winning any of these remaining games. i think that guy will be in the mlb less than two years after getting drafted.

I think the point is that they're carrying 3 catchers right now, which is unusual.  People who were advocating for Thaiss seemed to be doing so with the assumption that Suzuki would get the boot (or in this specific case, that Suzuki wouldn't be traveling to Toronto).

Strange game so far.  The Fletcher and Othani hits were legit, but lots of doinkers, misplays, etc. otherwise.  Angels definitely haven't had much luck this season, so good to see it showing up tonight.
