How much blame or success can we put on hitting and pitching coaches for player performance?

Who was Angel pitcher that was tipping pitches earlier? Mike Trout saw it from CF but Wise can’t see it??? Is the team so bad that the players and coaches aren’t even watching the videos of the teams ABs and pitches?

Nevin explained that in the postgame but no one remembers that because incompetence is a better story to some fans.

Sorry @Stradling I don’t buy Nevin’s explanation. He’s trying to protect Wise, but Wise is a big boy that can handle criticism. And by making some poor excuse, throws Trout under the bus who’s trying to win ball games not protect coaches feelings.
