I'm so happy to hear that Lorenzen hopes to be back by "early September"...Dude shouldn't see the mound again this season unless it's in mop-up duty.  Zero reason to have him take up innings from guys who the team needs to get a better read on for next year.

I agree, unless the Angels for some reason have interest in bringing him back.  Let him ride the pine.  Angels picked up Davidson and he's pretty much ready for MLB.  Let's see what he has.

Teams receiving revenue sharing cannot be selected in the lottery more than two years in a row

Teams paying revenue sharing cannot be selected in the lottery in consecutive years

Picks 7-18 are the remaining lottery teams, ordered by winning percentage

5

Teams eliminated in the Wild Card Round get picks 19-22

6

Teams eliminated in the Divisional Round get picks 23-26

7

Teams eliminated in the League Championship Series get picks 27-28

8

World Series loser gets pick 29

9

World Series winner gets pick 30

10

Ties are broken using the previous year's standings, with worse record winning the tiebreaker

11

If a team fails to sign their pick, they are awarded a compensatory pick in the next draft (one spot worse than the unsigned pick)

I haven't seen the exact percentages they're giving each spot but the odds are still going to be against any given spot winning. The NHL has done this for years and the worst team very rarely gets the first pick

Even after I switched to the Angels (after the Dodgers traded Mike Piazza) I would still turn on Dodger games just to listen to Vinny. 

He was great in so many ways, and had such a good personality and sense of humor. 

Will truly be missed.

Taylor Ward is by far, the shittiest base runner on this team.  That’s twice he’s run himself into an out by being stupidly over aggressive.
