Hosmer has has a better OPS than Pujols EVERY YEAR since he went to San Diego (five years).

Oh wait, I am sure you mean that Pujols value defensively is the tie breaker?

No, Im saying that it takes a great deal of delusion to think the Angels would have been better off ADDING Hosmer's contract to a team that already had AP.

I admit Hosmer has been a fraction of what I thought he would be in San Diego.  I felt his downside was still going to be serviceable but that there was a good chance (like many hitters) that his power would go up during his age 28-33 years.

I was wrong about that.

But the reality is Hosmer today would start over Walsh.
