It's guys like Rengifo that must make it hard to decide what to do when you're the GM.  Who is Rengifo?  Is he the guy who is playing out of his mind right now or the guy who looked like he'd never fulfill his potential.  I think being a GM is hard...

Don't know how reliable this person is but when it comes to the Dodgers(unlimited payroll and always a deep farm), you can simply just pencil them in on getting whoever the biggest name is available on the market. Good chance you'll end up being right a good % of the time

Must be nice having an owner(s) who aren’t afraid to spend on scouting and development and on improving the team at the same time.

Morosi wouldn’t pull Rengifo’s name out of thin air. Either his Angels source mentioned teams want him or other teams have mentioned the Angels are offering him. I actually said he was my sleeper trade candidate. Like @T.G.said it’s hard to tell if he is this or if he’s just on a hot streak. If a team sees his arrow pointing way up, and you can get a good young player then maybe you do it. Or pair him with a few other young players for a young stud?

He's the guy playing out of his mind. It's just finally clocking for him, because he's matured and is getting the opportunity.

This is the guy that was knocking on the door at age 22 and was drawing Jose Reyes comps. Because of bad GM decisions and losing a year in 2020, he's been delayed until this year, age 25.

But he's just now entering his prime and now you're seeing what he's capable of. And even now, it's not like we're talking about a superstar. You're seeing a .270-.280 hitter with decent on base ability, probably 15/15 or 20/20 each year and can play shortstop.

Not an all-star, but definitely a good, young, inexpensive leadoff hitter.

Ok... that's all the confirmation I needed.

Trade him now.
