Oh ok.  The one I remember was the other outfielder Lewis Brinson or something like that.

Three of four prospects the Marlins got in the trade are already no longer with the Marlins org.  The only one left has a .562 career MLB OPS.

Brinson was DFA’d during the off-season.

The Cabrera and Yelich trades should serve as a warning to anyone wanting to trade Trout or Ohtani.

I'm getting flashbacks of Morganna who is very much more "filled up".

She is now 74 years old and should make a appearance at one of these throwback games for old times sake.

Hopefully, once he's healthy, Stefanic will get a shot.  Apparently, we don't have anyone in the upper minors that can hit major league, or minor league pitching.

we've got tons of guys that can hit minor league pitching. the problem is when they get called up they don't get to hit against the angels' pitching.

Never heard of him.

He was one of the three top 100 prospects the Brewers traded to Miami for Yelich.  All three have been DFA'd by the Marlins and now the Brewers are telling themselves "only 8 more years" of Yelich

Christian Yelich 2020-2022 -- .236/..351/.388

Exactly. I think sometimes these deals of magnitude are only franchise altering because the teams making the exchange build their team around such changes. The personnel themselves may not be.

Remember the package the Marins got from Detroit for Miguel Cabrera? And how the Angels reportedly were the runner up?

It was certainly franchise altering for Detroit, but it definitely didn't do move for Miami.
