Can everyone please tell Cals he was right?!?

We can't erase the first 37 games of the season which, last time I checked, were managed by Maddon.

He was a scapegoat, but the team has continued to suck without him. The Angels are about to lose their second straight game to one of the worst teams in baseball....at home.

Meaning, the problem goes much deeper than Joe Maddon. I'm not even sure he was a problem at all.

As I sit in this stadium watching another shitshow, I’d like to say both of you are right.  Who knows what the issue is?  The first 37 games of this season were the best in a long time.

The last 25 something have sucked balls.  @failosand I were here for the no hitter, and it was awesome.  From then on, this stadium has sucked ass.

Do I care if Maddon was the problem?  Nope.  Something had to change.  I’ve watched this team and their entire body language has changed.  The whole place has changed.  It sucks.

Joe Maddon was a self promoting narcissist. Like IP said in another thread, he was style over substance.

He thinks he’s one of the boys and he loves the spotlight.  He was the effin manager, not a fraternity brother.

He constantly put his foot in his mouth… Example - During Spring Training, he talked about moving Trout out of CF without talking to him about it. There are tons of other examples.

Walking Seager in Texas with the bases loaded was the ultimate “Look at me” Joe move.

”Results don’t matter.” Famous last words because, news flash Joe - results do matter.
