It's not like Nevin is new to the Angels. Trout was always picking Mike's brain. He pretty much ignored Skipper Brad. He kind of liked Joe, too, going by most of the dugout chats.

When you have such a top heavy lineup such as this, you're going to be relying on Trout or Ohtani to win pretty much every game for you. 

That's a bad recipe. 

I'm grateful for the wins, particularly at the Mariners expense, but the Angels are going to need to stay getting some timely hits from their LF, 3B or SS.
