Sam Blum is definitely the 2nd best Angels beat writer.  He’s done a great job this year imo.  Wasn’t too high on him coming into the season.

Tuesdays 6-5 loss, out of the 30 outs made in those 10 innings, 14 were strikeouts. Eight last night. Tonight 4 of the first 6 outs are strikeouts. Pathetic! They don't try to protect the plate with 2 strikes. Just keep swinging for the home run.
