Went to europe on vacation once. Didnt really eat healthy, but its more expensive so i probably ate less. Anyway, even with being on vacation and drinking every day i was there, i lost weight and came home with a lot more energy. And honest to gid, about day 5 after getting home i started feeling slow and tired again, even though i was sleeping more.

Our food is just too filled with junk

I have been watching Wheeler Dealers on Velocity. For those who haven't seen it, two guys in the UK - one a mechanic and the other the buyer/seller, acquire and fix up once classic cars and resell them. Sometimes I doubt their prices for some of the parts that they buy. For example, they claimed to have gotten an entire replacement interior - leather front and rear seats, door panels, console cover and carpet - for a Saab 900 Turbo for Â£175

 

For comparison, I did some checking. Leather seating surfaces for a Saab 900 cost about $400 - and that is with no seats.

I'm at that stage. If I ate any kind of meat or sugary food I would get sick for sure. Once you detox your body of all the bad food that we are used to eating it's a shock to our bodies to eat that way again.

 

I really don't crave any kind of fatty foods. I remember how they all tasted and I don't really miss them now. Red meat and bacon really gross me out now.

 

The only thing I do miss is pizza. I actually ate a piece of pizza cheese about half the size of your small finger nail just to suck on the flavor. Sounds weird but I had taken my whole family out to a pizza place last year and all I was eating was a salad and just had the urge to eat the cheese. Tasted the same as I remembered.

Watched the first 2 episodes. Wife and I like it. Has some similarities to Longmire in the plot. 1 1/2 hours shows. 9 total. Hope they continue to build on the plot.

The British or The original Swedish version? I watched the entire British version and have started the Swedish one now.

I think it's miles better than Longmire.

Edit: just realized you said 9 total episodes. That's the British version

Rewatched the last season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Hilarious. Funnier than I'd remembered. The episode The Bi-Sexual is especially good. All about baseball. Larry and Rosie O'Donnell are competing for the same woman. Larry takes viagra and, as a result of his performance in bed, the woman chooses Larry. Rosie O'Donnell accuses Larry of juicing. Funny stuff.

Seriously? I think it's great when he breaks down the 4th wall. It works because they don't go overboard with it.

Some of my favorite examples of this being done are Ferris Bueller, Blazing Saddles, Fight Club, American Psycho... I'm sure that I'm leaving out some other good examples

it's the processed carbs that make you feel like taking a nap 3 times a day

fun to pig out on once in awhile, but i feel ill when i do. i keep reading from super health nuts (which I'm not) that they don't even like the taste of junk food anymore. wish i could say the same, but sugar is just so damn good.

i go through spurts. Ill clean up my act, and after like 2 weeks of eating clean, yeah, junk food isnt appealing. Then ill get super busy and eat crap for a few days, and its the only thing that sounds good again....

I am through three episodes now.  He does it at a much lower frequency in the third episode, it was just excessive to me in the first episode.
