every time i watch rehab addict, it's an episode i've already seen. seems like she's been working on the same house for the last three years.

I don't know man, after about three episodes her voice starts to get real annoying.

I dig the premise of the rehab though. Repurposing things, restoration. Kinda cool. My dad's really into it. But, I think he just has a thing for the chick.

I really like the premise too.  I just end up wanting to stick a fork in my ears after a few episodes.

Catastrophe. Amazon original comedy series. It got great reviews so I thought I would give it a shot. Really, really funny. I only watched the first two out of six episodes, but so far, it is way better than I was expecting.

Island Hunters makes me want to buy an island when I retire. Who knew there were islands in Ohio? Crazy.

There are some pretty amazing island homes up near the Michigan upper peninsula in lake Michigan.  You are pretty secluded though.

spent a summer in HS up there on the keweenaw peninsula in michigan.

friends grand parents' had a huge house right on lake superior.

town called Copper Harbor, had probably 60 people.

man it was gorgeous.

They get like 200+ inches of snow a year up there.  Can buy a gigantic house for nothing.  Probably could get 5 acres and 2500 sqft for 300k.  It is absolutely beautiful.  Just secluded.

Yes, but this was a smaller lake that had like 25 smaller little islands that were 1/3 of an acre on up. I guess I am ignorant because I didn't really think about Islands being in lakes, I always thought of Islands being in oceans.

And yes, she's a total hottie, until she starts talking like a valley girl.

Season 4 of Banshee will be its last. Why do all the good shows get canceled?!

Started Banshee last week; two episodes so far.  I like that the lead character is leaving a trail of his "juice" wherever he goes...

Watched Episode 1 of "Wayward Pines"

It was pretty good, had a Twilight Zone kind of feel.

Plus anything with Carla Gugino gets my vote.

 

Prepare to be seriously disappointed with Wayward Pines...  I felt that same way about the show at first, then it went right-rudder.

the visuals were pretty spectacular, but i learned that if i ever want to go to space, don't go with sandra bullock. she's bad luck.

And full of panic...  I was laughing at how they didn't seem prepared for any contingencies.

I prefer the space scenes from original Star Wars.

Sat through "The Man" with Samuel L. Jackson and Eugene Levy.  It presses so hard to be funny, and fails miserably.  It has the only fart scene, I've never laughed at.

Yeah, I kind of get that feeling.

Even as it is, you can tell it's not going to be great, but you hope it will be at least decent.

And it needs to either step it up, or it will fall under the weight of what it's trying to do.

But episode one was pretty good for what it was. Will keep watching.
