Watched Arrival last night....meh.  Was hoping for a lot more.  Felt like a bad rip off of Contact but focused (and I say focused lightly) around linguistics.

FInished the fist season of Taboo the other day.  Loved this series.  Dark as hell, and different than everything else currently on TV.

Just finished season 4 of Rectify. Last season.

Interesting ending and leaves open areas for the imagination. Got really involved in the characters as the series moved on. Well done.

My wife wanted to watch Chicago Justice because it has Philip Winchester, one of the actors from Strike Back.

Episode 1 of Chicago Justice was the conclusion to a 3-part crossover including a Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. episode.

I really didn't like any of them.

we loved both. i thought viggo was as good if not better than casey affleck.

We used to watch Chicago Fire but lost interest when someone threatened to close the firehouse every other episode.

I've always wondered.  Regarding the nuke tests.  There are some where you have spectators, some getting real close, like the one's at sea.  Has there been a study on how those blasts affected those military personnel?  You would think that they would show signs of radiation, but you never really hear anything about it.
